Returns & Refunds Policy
Return Eligibility
Items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund, provided they are:
- New, unused, and in original condition
- Unopened and in original packaging
- Complete with all parts, manuals, and accessories
Items that show signs of use, installation, damage, or missing components are not eligible for return.
How to Initiate a Return

Please include your order number and reason for the return. Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.
Restocking Fee
Approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee to cover inspection, handling, and repackaging costs.
Return Shipping Costs
If a return is due to customer preference (such as ordering the wrong item, no longer needed, or changing your mind), the customer is responsible for:
- All return shipping costs
- Proper packaging to prevent damage in transit
- LTL freight, if required
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Refund Amount
Refunds will be issued for the purchase price of the item(s), less:
- The restocking fee
- Original shipping costs incurred by us (even if your order qualified for free shipping)
- Any return shipping costs, if applicable
Refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned item is received and inspected.
Equipment & Freight Returns
Large equipment shipped via freight requires special handling for returns. Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return freight unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
Failure to properly secure freight returns may result in additional fees or denial of the return.
Returned equipment must match the serial number originally shipped. Items with altered, removed, or mismatched serial numbers will not be accepted.
Missing Parts & Components
Returned items must include all original components, accessories, packaging, and documentation.
Missing parts or components may result in additional deductions from the refund or denial of the return.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incomplete, contact us within 24 hours of delivery at hello@mitgear.com
with photos and a description of the issue. We will work with you to resolve the problem promptly.Do not return damaged items without contacting us first.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Opened or used products
- Special-order or custom items
- Clearance or final sale items
- Hazardous materials or chemicals
- Items not in original packaging
Refused Deliveries
Orders refused at delivery for reasons other than visible severe damage will be treated as a customer return and subject to all applicable shipping charges and restocking fees.
Excessive or Abusive Returns
We reserve the right to decline returns from customers with a history of excessive, abusive, or fraudulent return activity.
Claim Reporting Window
Any claims for damage, defects, shortages, or incorrect items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Failure to report issues within this timeframe may result in denial of the claim.
Processing Time
Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.
